마산시 호계리의 진동층에서 105개의 발자국으로 구성된 7개의 소형 용각류의 보행열이 확인되었다. 용각류 발자국의 길이는 앞발자국이 9.4-20 cm, 뒷발자국이 19-57 cm 범위를 보인다. 보행열을 구성하는 앞, 뒷발자국의 위치는 매우 다양해 그 동안 진동층에서 발견된 용각류 보행열과 유사한 특징을 보인다. 7개의 보행열 중 최소한 3개의 보행열은 평행한 이동방향과 속도를 보이며 무리지어 이동하는 용각류에 의해 남겨진 것으로 해석된다. 호계리의 용각류 발자국은 골반까지의 높이가 2 m 이내인 소형 용각류가 0.16-1.89 m/s의 속도로 비교적 건조한 조건의 호수주변을 걸어가면서 남긴 공룡발자국으로 해석된다.

Seven sauropod trackways (105 footprints) were recognized from the Jindong Formation (Cretaceous), Hogye-ri, Masan city, Korea. Subparalleled four digital impressions are observed in a trackway. The positions of manus print to pes print are various like those of the tracks previously reported from the Jindong Formation (Lim, 1995). The direction and speed of sauropods shown in three trackways are similar to each other. It is interpreted that the Hogyeri trackways were produced by small sauropods (a hip height of 2 m and a locomotion speed of 0.16-1.89m/s) walked on dry mudflat.
